Terahertz radiation Turns Able to Accelerate in 1000 Times Computer Memory

Memory is one component of a computer that plays a very important and it can determine how the performance of the computer, especially how fast individual memory cells can be activated, which is currently done by using an external magnetic field. Now scientists are Europe and Russia have proposed a new method using terahertz radiation which is much faster, aka "T-rays." That is the same thing used in body scanners at airports.

As reported by Engadget, Thursday (10/13/2016), according to their study, published in the journal Nature, the magnetic field swap with T-rays could boost the rate of re-cell process by a factor of 1000, which can be used to create super fast memory

Radiation is actually a series of short electromagnetic impulse whizzing cell at terahertz frequencies, where, according to a press release the scientists, this has a wavelength of about 0.1 millimeters, lie between microwaves and infrared rays.

Most of the T-ray experiments have recently been working quickly, which can accurately inspect organic materials and mechanics. In addition to quickly scan your to detect contraband and weird stuff at the airport, another proposal involved using terahertz radiation which is to look into the innards of microchip damaged, peek into textbooks is extremely fragile when opened and can even comb baggage at airports to detect material explosive.

But this is still a hypothesis, in which this technology can not be felt on your PC at this time. Scientists have also been successfully demonstrated the concept on a weak ferromagnet, thulium orthoferrite (TmFeO₃), and even find an explanation that the effects of terahertz radiation is ten times greater than conventional external magnetic field, which means that the new method is much faster and more efficiently.

Unfortunately, scientists have yet to publish the results of tests on an actual computer memory cells, so it is not known when the T-rays will we enjoy on a computer device.
