Sony Announces A99 Mark II 42MP camera with 5-Axis Stabilization

Sony A99 become interchangeable lense camera flagship over the past few years, and now the Japanese company has finally introduced its successor. During the event Photokia being held in Germany, Sony introduced a new camera, the Sony A99 Mark II (BO). The camera is scheduled to be go on sale in November at a price that is quite high, namely $ 3,200.


Of course the price is high, the Sony A99 Mark II is the latest technology that will put this camera in a class on board. Sony A99 Mark II carries the sensor phase detection autofocus with 79 focus points can work together on-sensor PDAF 399 points. The technology is called Sony as 'Hybrid Cross AF points'.


Focus system on this camera can focus up to -4 EV. To smooth the video recording, this camera has been supported by 5-axis features SteadyShot INSIDE is able to stabilize images properly.


Cameras Sony A99 Mark II has brought a 42.4MP Exmor R CMOS sensor and BIONZ image processing engine has X. The combination of high sensor and the image processing can produce quality results in any light conditions and is able to capture images continuously at 12fps.


In addition, the Sony A99 II has an ISO range of 100 to 25,600 and thus has the ability to record video up to 4K resolution. For other features, this camera brings the LCD screen of 3 inches and has XGA OLED viewfinder with 0.78x magnifier. The screen also has a special coating that reduces fingerprints.
