Facebook At Work Finally Comes with Name "Workplace"

Facebook has long planned to present a special version of Facebook for professional workers. In 2015, the company confirmed that it was working on a special version of the new platform and Facebook call it "Facebook At Work".

Over the past 20 months, this particular version is already available in closed beta and Facebook has finally been officially launched. However, the company decided to change the name of the special version to "Workplace". Currently, there are billions of people around the world are using Facebook to connect with the people, then what is the difference Workplace with Facebook?

The only difference of this new platform with regular Facebook is that it can separate personal and work accounts. It allows Facebook users to share things with colleagues, being part of a group and do much more things without worrying about personal and work accounts mixed.

Facebook itself has launched Workplace for desktop maupaun moble applications complete with news updates. Additional features include Live video, Reaction, groups, chat, video and voice calls, and many others. Since Workplace aimed at businesses,

Facebook will impose a fee for this platform. It will be charged for Workplace based on monthly active users, defined as those that open and use Workplace at least once every month. For the first 1,000 users will be charged $ 3, then 1,001 to 10,000 users charged $ 2 each month, and after that it will apply a $ 1 fee for all active users monthly.

We have had many business partners who joined forces to use this platform as Royal Bank of Scotland, Starbucks, Booking.com, and mobile operator Telenor. For the future will be more and more companies are soon to use this new platform.
