Samsung Will Eliminate Home Button On Galaxy S8

Lately, Samsung was widely discussed as issues Galaxy Note 7 are reaping a lot of controversy, ranging from the many reports the devices exploded, until the recall is performed Samsung in various countries. But this time we forget for a moment the case of Galaxy Note 7, since recently there are new rumors about the next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8. 

The next flagship smartphone rumored for next year will come up with some hardware changes are quite large compared to its predecessor. The first thing that will be immediately visible is the loss of a home button that is always present during Dapa models of Samsung Galaxy S series. Although it is still a rumor, but it might just happen.


Alternatively, Samsung will replace it with a non-moving part is similar to Apple implement in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Or perhaps a physical home button completely missing which was replaced by on-screen navigation buttons and to fingerprint will be separated from the function of the home.

Reports from South Korea also claims that "the abolition of the home button shows that Samsung Electronics plans to fill all the front Galaxy S8 just the screen", but it is not clear how Samsung will implement it. 

On the other hand, Samsung S8 also reportedly carrying a dual camera setup at the rear. This is certainly not surprising, given how many of Samsung's competitors (including Apple) have started carrying this feature. It is not yet clear is whether Samsung will implement "all-in-one dual-camera" or "dual-camera apart". 

The previous Smartphone "has two lenses and a module", while the latter "has two separate modules". One of the rear sensor S8 will have a resolution of 16 MP, while others will be 8 MP unit. For its hardware, Samsung Galaxy S8 will be powered by a chip made by Samsung itself, the Exynos 8895 that is allegedly capable of scoring up to 200 thousands in the AnTuTu benchmark. 

Besides Samsung also will use the Snapdragon 830 in certain countries. Snapdragon 830 itself is produced by Samsung using a 10nm process, as previously rumored. It should be noted the company is sure that there will be no production defects as experienced Galaxy Note 7.
